Hello World!

2020. Those four digits will mean a heck of a lot to all of us years from now. I will probably look back on it differently down the road than I do currently, but for now I'll say this: I'm a better person today than I was December 31, 2019.

2020 has taught me much and will continue to. I thought this would be the perfect year to venture out on my own for the first time...full time freelancer. There was a brief period in March and April where I was REALLY questioning that move. As it turns out, it has worked out just fine...and for that I'm very thankful.

I think often of my many friends that have had to be extremely creative, patient, yet bold in working through the stresses and worries that this year has laid upon us. I cannot ignore how tough it's been. Much of it has been completely out of our control. It's frustrating...even maddening! That said, I'm encouraged by the approach that many have taken in the face of adversity.

To that end, welcome to Lyrical Pipe Creative! I mentioned that this year has worked out for me, and that is thanks in no small part to a few friends that have trusted me to do some production work for them. Words will fail to express my gratitude for that trust. I have had enough of that work now that I've found it wise to officially get my own production company off the ground. I've been working on the how and why of it now for a few weeks (if I'm being real, this has been years in the making), but I think there's no better time than on the cusp of a new year to roll it out for everyone to see.

Lyrical Pipe Creative will surely be a challenge for me. I'm looking forward to the joy that will come along with it as well. I love to help people tell their story. I have several friends that have taken this same route this past year and I'm encouraged that people are finding these small creative companies helpful. There are so many important, powerful stories to tell out there. The more the merrier.

SO...I've put this little website together...and would love if you'd share it with your friends. Who knows what 2021 and beyond has in store. I do know this, I'm thankful for what 2020 has taught me. I'm thankful for my many friends and family that have been an incredible encouragement along the way.

Oh...and there's plenty of Sports TV to come as well. I've gotta continue to scratch that itch! It's too much fun!
